  2. I am interested in BOTOX but the price varies from practice to practice. Why is that and how do I know I am getting the best price?

I have heard about the new product Dysport™. What is the difference between Dysport and BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic has been the most popular non-surgical procedure in the US for the past 5 years. It is a temporary treatment for moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, forehead lines and crow's feet (dynamic wrinkles, those caused by the movement of facial muscles). Dysport™ is a new alternative to BOTOX Cosmetic that also reduces the appearance of these dynamic wrinkles.

There are certain slight differences between the two products. During your consultation, your surgeon will discuss these differences and help decide which product in Maryland (BOTOX or Dysport) will best achieve your goals.

I am interested in BOTOX but the price varies from practice to practice. Why is that and how do I know I am getting the best price?

Most patients are calling around to get the best price on BOTOX without knowing exactly what they are getting. BOTOX Cosmetic is supplied to your practitioner in an undiluted state. The practitioner must dilute for preparation prior to treatment. The amount of dilution determines the units provided to each patient. It is important to know how many units your provider is using for your treatment and the cost of each unit.

Be careful of the many special deals being offered on BOTOX. Visit Plastic Surgery Specialists for your BOTOX treatment which will be performed by one of our board-certified plastic surgeons and where you will know exactly what you are getting.
